NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Urbana, Illinois will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 7:30 P.M. in the Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, at which time and place the Board will consider the following case:
ZBA Case 2014-C-01: a request by Ms. Elizabeth Hendrick for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the installation and use of a catering kitchen and banquet center within an existing building at 801 Killarney Street in the IN-1 (Light Industrial/Office) Zoning District.
This property is currently vacant and was most recently used as a church. The IN-1 district allows restaurant or similar uses with a conditional use permit. The proposed use of the building as a commercial catering kitchen and banquet facility follows this classification. The building contains an existing kitchen and assembly space.
The subject property is more accurately described as follows:
Lot 16 in Lincoln Centre in Champaign County, Illinois, as per plat recorded in Plat Book “Z: at page 70, situated in the City of Urbana, in Champaign County, Illinois.
