Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of St. Joseph Community Consolidated School District No. 169 will conduct a public hearing at 7:30pm on May 12, 2014 in the Conference Room located in the Grade School building in St. Joseph, IL. The purpose of the hearing is to hear testimony from educators, parents and students concerning an application for modification of Section 24-2 of the Illinois School Code, which requires certain days as Holidays. The Board of Education will consider an application that mandates be modified to allow the St. Joseph School Board to have student attendance on the holidays stated in section 24-2 of the Illinois School Code. Any interested person may appear at said hearing and give testimony.
