NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the County Engineer, 2732 Batestown Road, Oakwood, Il. Until 10:00 Am., July 16, 2014 for the following projects:
1. Furnishing materials and labor required for Striping various County Roads.
Proposals will be opened and read publicly at that time. No proposals will be issued after 4:00 pm. on July 15, 2014.
Plans and proposal forms will be available in the office of the County Engineer. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee as provided in Recurring Local Roads Special Provision LRS6. The County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Recurring Local Road Special Provision LRS6. Prequalification of bidders is required.
The County, in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contracts entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of Race, Color or National Origin.
