NOTICE FOR BIDS
The Champaign Park District is requesting sealed bids for CONCRETE REPLACEMENT at various sites within the park district. Bid documents and technical specifications are available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the following locations:
Champaign Park District, 706 Kenwood Road, Champaign, Illinois 61821
Sealed bids are due to Bret Johnson, Grounds Supervisor, Champaign Park District, 706 Kenwood Road, Champaign, Illinois, 61821 by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2014 at which time said bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all irregularities and select the bid that is in the best interests of the Park District.
All bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Affirmative Action Ordinance of the Champaign Park District and must insure that any subcontractor used shall also comply therewith. Further, all bidders shall comply with all Federal, State, and local statutory requirements pertaining to prevailing wages, Illinois Fair Employment Act, equal opportunity regulations, and any other State or Federal aid regulations applicable to the contract. All bidders are notified that the Park District will affirmatively assure that the contract will be awarded without discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin.
