PUBLICATION-CLAIMS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the death of MICHAEL J. DARLING, who died on the 23rd day of May, 2013. Letters of Office were issued on July 26, 2013, to Patrick S. Darling of 154 East Main Street, Norwich, NY 13815 as Executor, whose attorney is Paul E. Selin of the Law Offices of Paul E. Selin, 116 N Chestnut, Suite 200, Champaign IL, 61820.
Claims against the Estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Champaign County Courthouse, 101 East Main Street, Urbana, Illinois, or with the representative, or both, on or before February 26, 2014, and any claim not filed within that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney within ten(10) days after it has been filed.
Notice is also hereby given to the unknown heirs of MICHAEL J. DARLING, Deceased, and to all whom it may concern, who are heirs or legatees in the above proceeding to probate a Will, and whose names or addresses are not stated in the Petition, that an Order was entered by the Court on July 22, 2013, admitting the Will to probate. Within 42 days after the effective date of the original Order of Admission, you may file a petition with the Court to require proof of the Will by testimony of the witness to the Will in open Court or other evidence, as provided in Section 6-21 of the Probate Act (lll,Rev. Stat., Ch.110-1/2, par. 6-21). You also have the right under Section 8-1 of the Probate Act (Ill. Rev. Stat., Ch.100-1/2, par. 8-1) to contest the validity of the Will by filing a Petition with the Court within six (6) months after admission for the Will to probate.
