VILLAGE OF SAVOY, ILLINOIS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

VILLAGE OF SAVOY PLANNING COMMISSION, ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Village of Savoy Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals have scheduled the following Public Hearings to be held on January 27, 2014, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Savoy Municipal Center, 611 North Dunlap Ave, Savoy, Illinois.

Hearing 1.

The Planning Commission will hear testimony on a request by R.B. Savoy, LLC of Champaign, Illinois for a replat of Lots 362-367 and Lots 375-377 of the Liberty on the Lake II Subdivision, Phase I, Savoy, IL, which will include a rezoning from R-2A (Single and Two Family Residences) to R-2 (Single Family Residences) for lots 362, 363, 364, 365, 366, 367, 375, 376, and 377.

The Village of Savoy President and Board of Trustees will also conduct Public Hearings on the same matter on February 5, 2014, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Savoy Municipal Center, 611 North Dunlap Ave, Savoy, IL.

Hearing 2. The Zoning Board of Appeals will hear testimony by R.B. Savoy, LLC of Champaign, Illinois for an Variance to Savoy Municipal Code Chapter 17- Zoning, requesting a twenty-five percent (25%) variance of the seventy foot (70') required lot widths for Lots 362-367 and Lots 375-377 of the Liberty on the Lake II Subdivision, Phase I, to a requested average lot width of fifty-three feet (53').

Hearing 3.

The Planning Commission will hear testimony on a request by Signature Construction, Inc. Of Champaign, IL, for a Special Use Permit for the one lot subdivision in the Courtyards Phase II Subdivision. The request is to allow for an eighty (80) unit multi family project which is comprised of six (6), twelve-unit buildings, one (1) four-unit building, and four (4) carriage-style units (apartments above garages) which will be zoned R-5 High Density Residences.

The Village of Savoy President and Board of Trustees will also conduct Public Hearings on the same matter on February 5, 2014, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Savoy Municipal Center, 611 North Dunlap Ave, Savoy, IL.

Said property is legally described as:

A PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 8 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, ILLINOIS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF PRAIRIE FIELDS 12 SUBDIVISION, RECORDED IN DOCUMENT NO. 2008R25987 IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
