NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Urbana Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, at which time and place the Commission will consider the following request for a special use permit:

Plan Case No. 2365-SU-18: A request for a special use permit by the City of Urbana to allow the installation, operation, and maintenance of a solar energy system, approximately 41 acres in size, in the AG - Agriculture zoning district, and generally located near 901 North Smith Road, Urbana, Illinois 61802.

In accordance with Urbana Zoning Ordinance Section V-1(B), the Zoning Administrator has determined that the proposed use of the site is subject to the regulations applicable to an electrical substation, which is permitted in the AG - Agriculture zoning district with a special use permit, as per Table V-I in the Urbana Zoning Ordinance.
